For our sustainability efforts to be sustainable, they must feed us in some way. They should draw on our gifts, and be rooted, as we are, in our communities and in our places. As St. Andrews celebrates some extraordinary successes, like our composting facility, and considers next directions for creation care and climate justice concerns, Cricket Hunter will introduce us to the Carbon Tithe, a tool that connects personal action with community action and beyond. The Carbon Tithe is a practice that can start now and can continue to be meaningful and important when we are able to gather in person again. The beauty of the work we undertake as people of faith is that it both calls us forward and supports the work as it continues. Please join us to share in hope and gratitude, efficacy, and spiritual discipline, and you’ll leave with something you can do, right now.
