All creatures, great and small, are invited to attend our annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 5. Your pet (leashed or caged as appropriate) is welcome to join you inside the church at our 10 a.m. service of Holy Eucharist. This is a family and child friendly service. Photos of pets and stuffed animals are also welcome!

On Sunday, October 5, the Adult Choir of St. Andrew's will present a service of choral evensong. Music will include the evening canticles, the Selwyn Service, by Stephanie Martin, Preces and Responses by Joanna Forbes L'Estrange, and anthems by Havergal Brian and Simon Lole. The Rev. Ted Christopher will be the officiant. Organist Gwen Catchen will play music by Johann Pachelbel and Walter Wells. A reception will follow in Room 325.

The Book Group will meet Tuesday, October 7, to discuss The Briar Club by Kate Quinn, a “haunting and powerful story of female friendships and secrets in a Washington, DC, boardinghouse during the McCarthy era.” The Book Group is open to all. Newcomers and guests are always welcome.
