On Friday, September 28, LYRA, an a cappella group of six professional vocalists from St. Petersburg, Russia, will present a concert of Russian choral music at St. Andrew's. As a celebration of the gifts of creation and the responsibility we have from God to be stewards of those gifts, we will have a special St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals at the 10:00 service on Sunday, September 30. The new documentary RBG chronicles the career of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, spanning several decades, and examines how she developed a legal legacy while becoming a pop culture icon. Like the recently shown Won't You Be My Neighbor?about Fred Rogers, it offers a timely, intimate look at a contemporary American legend. Come at 6:30 for snacks. Our principal weekly Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 10 a.m. and lasts around 75 minutes. During this time our nursery is open, and children may attend church school classes. Music is led by organ and our popular choir.
