Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13, 10 a.m. - Noon each day The Central PA Festival of the Arts is fast approaching. St. Andrew's will again offer tours of our stained glass windows presented by Cathy Dauler and Jason McCloskey on Friday and Saturday morning of the festival. The tours are free, open to the public, and will begin in the narthex. This event is listed in the official festival program guide under "Fun Beyond the Festival." (p. 22)

The Community Café will offer FREE ice water, lemonade, and iced tea to hot and thirsty festival-goers on the front lawn Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the Arts Festival The drinks are free, but donations are gladly accepted. MANY volunteers are needed. This year's poetry contest will be our third during the Arts Festival and is the culmination of our 2024 contest with the theme "And who is your neighbor?" We received many great entries from as far away as Nigeria and Serbia and as close as this parish. Thank you to all of the poets who participated. If you are interested in learning more about the ministry of Lay Eucharistic Visitor, please join us for the first of two training sessions which will deal with an overview of the ministry and its purpose. We will meet in the church from 5 to 6 on Tuesday, July 16. There is no previous experience or training required. Please let Father Jeff know if you plan to attend.

St. Andrew’s is blessed to have a School of Music at Penn State University and talented singers who share their voices with our wonderful volunteer choir during weekly services and concerts. We are forming a Friends of Music at St. Andrew’s to ensure that this addition to our choir continues and grows.
