In March, St. Andrew's Book Group will read and discuss West With Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge. The book is a historical novel set in 1938 as the Depression lingers and as Hitler is threatening Europe. It tells about two giraffes on their way to the San Diego Zoo where they will be the zoo’s first giraffes. After being stranded in New York during a hurricane, the giraffes begin their twelve-day cross country road trip to San Diego. From city to city, reporters…

Taizé is a candle-lit, meditative service of music, silence, brief readings, and prayer lasting approximately 35 minutes. It is coordinated by the Daughters of the King and the music is led by Steve and Lisa Hopkins. Taizé is usually offered at St. Andrew's during Advent and Lent. * We will skip March 12 due to Spring Break.
