Valentine’s Day ChocolateTasting

Medora Ebersole and Karl Zimmerer invite you to a Zoom chocolate tasting on Valentine’s Day at 4pm! This event is a follow-up to Karl’s Adult Forum presentation on the history and ethics of chocolate in November. Tasting kits can be ordered online for a cost of $10 each. We will be tasting fair-trade chocolate from Peru using the Marana Chocolate Sampler. Distribution of Communion Kits and Take-Home Ashes

We will make take-home Communion available for Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Bread and wine will be consecrated on the Last Sunday after the Epiphany, February 14, and reserved for distribution. Deliveries will be made between Sunday afternoon and Tuesday. In person pick up of home Communion kits will take place on Shrove Tuesday, February 16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. just as we did on Christmas Eve. Ash Wednesday Service on FB Live

Drive-by Ashes

You can drive by in front of the church on Fraser Street to receive ashes from the priest. Ashes will be available 1-2 and 5-6 that afternoon. Disposable swabs will be used to impose the ashes. There will NOT be drive-by Communion, only ashes.
