J2A Chili Sale
On Sunday, February 13, the J2A youth will host their annual Super Bowl Chili Fundraiser! A variety of chili types will be sold after the 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and 5 p.m. services. Take home a quart for only $8, while supplies last! All proceeds benefit our J2A youth, as they prepare for an Urban Adventure in May 2022 and a Pilgrimage in 2023. Thank you for your support!

For the month of February, Black History Month, the St. Andrew’s Book Group selected Lisa Wingate’s The Book of Lost Friends, a 2020 novel inspired by historical events. The "Lost Friends" were advertisements that appeared in Southern Newspapers after the Civil War as freed slaves searched for family and loved ones who had been sold off. We will celebrate Shrove Tuesday early this year with a gathering in Canterbury Hall and the back garden, after the 10am service. We will enjoy coffee, donuts, and breads that are part of pre-Lent celebrations from around the world; treats like Fastnacht (Germany), Paczi (Poland), and King Cake (France and Spain). Evensong
Our next service of choral evensong will be held on Sunday, March 6. (There will not be a 5 p.m. eucharist that evening.) A reception will follow the service in Room 325. Masks that cover the mouth AND nose are required for ALL individuals age 2 and older.

The Daughters of the King will host a lunchtime book study on Wednesdays during Lent beginning March 9. The book, Prayer In The Night by Tish Warren, is a deep dive into a prayer from Compline, "Keep watch, Dear Lord." The book is available in print or audio online. Everyone is invited!
