Convocation Zoom Lenten Program
The churches of the Altoona Convocation (a subdivision of our diocese of which we are a part) will offer a cooperative Lenten program again this year. The meetings will take place on Zoom Wednesday evenings during Lent. This year's program uses Witness at the Cross by Amy-Jill Levine as the basis for a discussion of the events of Holy Friday. The Daughters of the King will host a lunchtime book study on Wednesdays during Lent beginning March 9. The book, Prayer In The Night by Tish Warren, is a deep dive into a prayer from Compline, "Keep watch, Dear Lord." The book is available in print or audio online. Everyone is invited! On Sunday, April 3, the Adult Choir will present a service of choral evensong. Join us in the Sanctuary on Monday night in Holy Week for a continuous reading of the Gospel According to John.
