Convocation Zoom Lenten Program

The churches of the Altoona Convocation (a subdivision of our diocese of which we are a part) will offer a cooperative Lenten program again this year. The meetings will take place on Zoom Wednesday evenings during Lent. This year's program uses Witness at the Cross by Amy-Jill Levine as the basis for a discussion of the events of Holy Friday. Brown Bag Book Study

The Daughters of the King will host a lunchtime book study on Wednesdays during Lent beginning March 9. The book, Prayer In The Night by Tish Warren, is a deep dive into a prayer from Compline, "Keep watch, Dear Lord." The book is available in print or audio online. Everyone is invited! Feel free to bring lunch with you.

Evensong

On Sunday, April 3, the Adult Choir will present a service of choral evensong. Music will include the Evening Canticles in D by Herbert Brewer, Preces and Responses by Richard Shephard, and the anthems Teach Me Thy Way, O Lord by William Fox, and Peace I Leave You by Amy Beach. Corporate Reading of the Gospel According to John

Maundy Thursday Watch of the Passion
