For the summer, the St. Andrew’s Book Club has gotten into the spirit of travel; we will read Charles Wheelan’s memoir We Came, We Saw, We Left: A Family Gap Year. The book chronicles the author’s 2018 journey with his wife, and their teenagers spanning nine months and six continents, and getting them into all sorts of unusual and hilarious situations. Cathy Dauler will be leading tours of our stained glass windows during the Arts Festival again this year. Even if you see them every Sunday, you are certain to learn something about their history, fabrication, or images depicted and leave with a new appreciation.

We received the final entry in our 2022 poetry contest 43 minutes before the midnight deadline on May 29. The 79 adult entries are now in the judges’ hands, and we will be announcing the winners soon. Unfortunately, we did not receive enough youth entries this year and will not be awarding a youth prize.
