Join fellow parishioners for a “Cleanup Day at Trinity House.” This outdoor work will consist primarily of weeding and pruning, plus other tasks as needed. If enough volunteers sign up, we might also tackle a couple small painting jobs. No experience necessary! St. Andrew’s is proud to sponsor and participate in the State College Pride Parade on Saturday, June 10. Come join us as we walk in the colorful parade to show our support of the LGBTQ+ community. The parade starts at 3 p.m., but groups are required to register and receive a wrist band at 2 p.m. in Sydney Friedman Parklet. The St. Andrew’s Book Group will meet Tuesday, June 27 at 7 p.m. at the home of Julie and Jamie Breuninger, 1212 N. Inverary Place, State College. We will discuss  The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams, the story of an aging widower and a lonely teenage girl who form an unlikely friendship by bonding over books. The Community Cafe will host its annual pie sale on July 14th-July 15th from 9am-5pm in front of St. Andrew’s on Frasier Street. Delicious pies of all varieties will be available! Guides Cathy Dauler and Jason McCloskey will provide guided tours of our stained-glass windows that focus on the history, meaning, and artistry of these beautiful works of art. Even if you see the windows every Sunday, you are sure to leave with more information and an increased appreciation. The tours are free of charge.
