This year's CROP Hunger Walk will begin at end at Grace Lutheran Church. Sign-in and gathering begin at 1:30pm, the Walk steps off at 2:00. Episcopal at Penn State and the Penn State Concert Choir will present a service of choral evensong this Sunday at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. This event is free and open to the public. The Rev. Ted Christopher will be the officiant. Christopher Kiver directs the Concert Choir.

The Book Group will meet Tuesday, October 24, at 7 p.m. in Room 324 to discuss our October/Halloween-inspired selection, If It Bleeds, a collection of four novellas by Stephen King. We will also select a book for November, so bring your suggestions. Newcomers are always welcome.

Come raise your glass with us on Wednesday, October 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Axemann Brewery in Bellefonte as we thank Julie and Tony Kwasnica for their many contributions to St. Andrew’s and wish them well on their move to Florida. There will be lots of space for socializing and a variety of food and beverages, including non-alcoholic, available to purchase. Everyone is welcome.

Coco (2017), Rated PG, 1 h 45 m Friday Films will present the Pixar animated film Coco, in Canterbury Hall. The story is inspired by the Mexican holiday, the Day of the Dead. It follows 12-year-old Miguel as he is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead and must seek the help of his musician great-great-grandfather to return to the living and to reverse his family's ban on music. We are restarting our tradition of welcoming those who are new to St. Andrew’s. To catch up (from 2019), we are inviting everyone: newcomers and those who have been here for years (decades?), to gather in Canterbury Hall for great food and fun after the 10:00 service on October 29.
