Youth Group Game Night and Pizza Party
We are starting something new and exciting - a youth group for grades 4 through 8! What is a youth group? A youth group is an opportunity for us to come together and form friendships, have fun, eat snacks, and learn about God. Our first get together is a game night on February 3. The Biblical Psalms, Presented by Philip Jenkins In his Adult Forum on February 4, Philip Jenkins continues his discussion of the Biblical Psalms. In all the liturgically-oriented churches (like our own St Andrew’s) every service includes at least some portion of the Psalms. Jesus often quoted the Psalms, and far more than any other part of the Bible, Psalms dominated how the earliest Christians spoke, wrote, and thought.
