Book Group

Community Cafe Trivia Night

Friday, January 26 7 p.m. doors open, 7:30 p.m. game begins Tickets: $20 in advance; $25 at the door All proceeds benefit the Community Cafe. Come with a group, bring friends, or we can put you on a team. Your ticket purchase includes the game, access to a buffet of delicious pub food and other treats, and soft drinks. Complementary adult beverages will be available for those with proper ID (donations gladly accepted.)

Friday Film: Groundhog Day

On February 2, Friday Films will present Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray and Andy McDowell, directed by Harold Ramis. A weather man is reluctantly sent to cover a story about a weather forecasting "rat" (as he calls it). This is his fourth year on the story, and he makes no effort to hide his frustration. Youth Group Game Night and Pizza Party

We are starting something new and exciting - a youth group for grades 4 through 8! What is a youth group? The Biblical Psalms, Presented by Philip Jenkins In his Adult Forum on February 4, Philip Jenkins continues his discussion of the Biblical Psalms. In all the liturgically-oriented churches (like our own St Andrew’s) every service includes at least some portion of the Psalms. Jesus often quoted the Psalms, and far more than any other part of the Bible, Psalms dominated how the earliest Christians spoke, wrote, and thought.
