Steven Smith to Perform Bach

On Sunday, April 19, we will have something a little different musically at the 10:00 a.m. service. Steven Smith, a member of St. Andrew’s and a well-known concert pianist and retired faculty at PSU, will play the prelude and the postlude. The music will be the opening and closing movements of J. S. Bach’s GOLDBERG VARIATIONS.
These movements will give us a foretaste of a concert by pianist Nathan Carterette who will play the entire set of variations St. Andrew’s on September 14.
Please plan to come early and stay late to hear Steven on the 19th.
