St. Andrew’s Book Group

The St. Andrew’s Book Group has selected Prussian Blue by best-selling crime novelist Philip Kerr as its book for October. Prussian Blue focuses on Bernie Gunther, a Berlin policeman in the 1950s, who must face his past experiences as a reluctant SS officer in Hitler’s Germany. Critic Alan Furst wrote of the book, “The narrative is swift and adept, and so well-grounded in the history and custom of the period that the reader is totally immersed.”
