Poetry Reading and Panel Discussion

We received the final entry in our 2022 poetry contest 43 minutes before the midnight deadline on May 29. The 79 adult entries are now in the judges’ hands, and we will be announcing the winners soon. Unfortunately, we did not receive enough youth entries this year and will not be awarding a youth prize. Thank you to all who submitted poems.
We will hold a poetry reading and panel discussion this year during the Arts Festival on Saturday, July 16. The poetry reading will begin at 1 p.m. in the church and will be hosted by our featured poet, Marjorie Maddox. All prize-winning poets and others selected by the poetry committee for inclusion our contest anthology will be invited to read. Copies of the anthology will be available for purchase. Following a short break, Fr. Jeff will
moderate our panel discussion on the topic of Creation Care and Climate Crisis.

through poetry and discussion.
