Lenten Program

The churches of the Altoona Convocation (a subdivision of our diocese of which we are a part) are doing a cooperative Lenten program this year. The meetings will take place on Zoom Wednesday evenings during Lent. Former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams’ book Meeting God in Mark: Reflections for the Season of Lent will be the basis of this program. The clergy of our convocation will take turns leading the discussions. The Zoom link will be made available closer to the first session.
Please plan to join us for this reflective look at the gospel of Mark. Then, on Monday of Holy Week, March 29, we will have a reading of the entire book of Mark’s gospel on Zoom.
