Evensong

The Adult Choir will present a service of choral evensong on Sunday, November 7 at 5 p.m. Music will include evening canticles by Charles Villiers Stanford, John Rutter’s setting of the Phos Hilaron, The Lord’s Prayer by Robert Stone, and the anthem, This Is the Day, an anonymous composition from the 16th century. The service will be straight out of the Book of Common Prayer. As always, we will observe all safety protocols – masks, appropriate distancing, adequate airflow, etc. – in the service. There will be a small reception in Room 325 following.
We hope this gentle service will remind us all of who we are and Whose we are. Please join us for it.
