The Way is a 2010 American drama film directed, produced and written by Emilio Estevez, starring his father Martin Sheen. The film honors the Camino de Santiago and promotes the traditional pilgrimage. Saying he did not want the film to appeal to only one demographic, Emilio Estevez called the film “pro- people, pro-life, not anti-anything”.
