Friday Films competes with the 2024 Paris Olympics this month with a showing of Blades of Glory on Friday, July 19. Will Ferrell and Jon Heder play the world’s best male figure skaters. Their intense rivalry breaks into a fight on the awards podium and they end up banned from the sport for life. Three years later, they discover a loophole in the rules that allows them to compete again as skating’s first male-male pair. The film also stars Amy Poehler, Will Arnette, Jenna Fisher, and Scott Hamilton.
Snacks will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the film will begin at 7 p.m. The film is free, and all are welcome.
