Friday Films presents Spirited Away, an Academy Award-winning anime film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film will be shown in Canterbury Hall with our new sound and video equipment.
10-year-old Chihiro and her family are travelling to their new home when they stop to explore an abandoned amusement park that turns out to be a town inhabited by demons, spirits, and an evil witch, Yubaba, who is intent on keeping all trespassers as captive workers, including Chihiro. Chihiro must find a way to save her parents and return to their world.
