In June, Friday Films will screen the documentary, Tina, an unvarnished and dynamic account of the life and career of music icon Tina Turner. With a wealth of never-before-seen footage, audio tapes, personal photos, and new interviews, including with the singer herself, the film charts Tina Turner’s early fame, her lifelong personal and professional struggles, and her return to the world stage as a global phenomenon in the 1980s. The film will be shown in Canterbury Hall and will be the debut of our new widescreen and sound equipment!
Snacks will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the film will begin at 7 p.m. The film is free, and all are welcome.
