The Beauty of Holiness will invite contemplation on the spaces Christians use for worship. The world is full of beautiful churches, basilicas and cathedrals. Each is different. Each is unique. All are sublime.
Dr. William R. Cook will be our guide, leading us through his video lecture series on the great churches of the world. Dr. Cook is the Distinguished Teaching Professor of History at the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he has taught since 1970. The recipient of numerous teaching awards, Professor Cook will detail how architecture can be used to communicate and increase faith.
The education hour begins at 9:15 a.m. in Canterbury Hall. All adults are warmly invited to attend, and beverages and snacks are available.
