Corporate Reading of the Gospel According to Mark

March 25 @ 7:00 pm

Most of us read along with the gospel readings on Sunday mornings. Some of us might undertake the Lenten discipline of reading sections of the Bible or
even tackle the Old or New Testament. The truly ambitious might read the Bible from cover to cover. But did you know that the Bible is a collection of
stories that were originally passed down in an oral tradition? The answer may be yes, and it just as well might be no.
Join us on Monday in Holy Week, for a corporate reading and experience the Gospel According to Mark in the oral tradition. Challenge yourself to listen to the story from beginning to end. One of the great characteristics of Mark is that it is short. So, if you have been concerned about sitting and listening and reading a gospel from beginning to end – THIS is the ONE to try. The corporate gospel reading is a group activity so please sign up to be a reader. We will divide the gospel into segments and hope to get as many as 15 or 20 people to participate. We promise this experience will change how you hear the gospel.
