Community Table

On Saturday, October 5, join us for an evening of farm-to-table food, local beverages, and handmade items for auction at the inaugural Community Table event benefiting the Community Cafe at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The cafe, which is celebrating a decade of food and fellowship this year, provides a free weekly dinner to community members each Thursday and operates through donations from area grocery stores and farms, including Cramer Farm, as well as through the work of dedicated volunteers. For this fundraising event, Chef Zach Lorber and his students in the Culinary Arts program at the State College Area High School will use the bounty of the Cramers’ land, as well as other local farms and producers, to create a unique farm fresh menu. Auctioneer Daniel Foster will look for the highest bid on one-of-a-kind auction items. Proceeds from the event will support the work that the Community Cafe has been doing since 2009 to feed our friends and neighbors. Tickets are $75 each, $140 per couple, and are available online via Provisions, which is helping to organize the event.
