A three part series with Philip Jenkins
In a variety of ways over the last year, both as individuals and as a parish, we have been asking what God is doing among us during this pandemic. As we eventually return to our strategic planning process as a parish, the experience of the pandemic will necessarily inform our future work and ministry in this place. But what larger effects on the church and on Christianity will we see? In this Adult Forum series, Philip Jenkins will lead us, with a historical lens, in a wide-angle conversation on the effect of the pandemic upon religious practice. Beginning by looking at the changes that past pandemics have produced, Philip will help us think about the changes that we are seeing around us now, and the changes that we are likely to see going forward.
