The Season of Creation from September 1st (Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) through October 4th (the Feast Day of St. Francis), is celebrated by Christians around the world including the Episcopal Church. It is a time for renewing, repairing and restoring our relationship to God, one another, and all of creation. Two St. Andrew’s parishioners will be making Forum presentations on this theme.
Sept. 15 — Kenneth J. Davis is Professor of Atmospheric and Climate Science in the Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at Penn State. His group conducts ground-breaking research to trace and quantify the sources of carbon dioxide and methane in the earth’s climate system. He will bring us up to date on developments in the science of greenhouse gases and explain why it is important that we take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
