Jan 12: Deepening Our Spirituality: Interactions with Sacred Objects
from Other Faiths – Michele Hamilton and Shih-In Ma
The Christian faith path is unique, but still shares similarities with other faiths in terms of goals (respect for deity, righteous living, how to live with others and in the world) and how we enact our faith (communal and solitary worship, daily prayer, scholarship, mysticism, charitable works). Deeper understandings of our own faith and practices can emerge from speaking with people of different faiths and learning more about their customs and practices. Michele Hamilton and Shih-In Ma will lead us in an interfaith dialogue about faith, prayer, and sacred objects.
