The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, January 27, at 7 p.m. in Room 324 to discuss Ariel Lawhon’s The Frozen River.
The book is historical fiction based on the true story of Martha Ballard, a midwife in 1789 Maine who investigates a murder and scandal using her diary. The mystery provides a depiction of early American Life and the era’s injustices against women.
Newcomers and guests are always welcome.
