For the final film in their summer series, Friday Films presents Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. This classic John Hughes comedy follows Ferris Bueller, a popular high school senior with an uncanny skill at cutting classes and getting away with it. Ferris, needing a day off, calls in sick, “borrows” a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day adventure through the streets of Chicago with his two best friends. His nemesis, high school principal Rooney, is determined to catch him in the act. Ferris is packed with memorable scenes, quotes, music, and stars (Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara, Alan Ruck, Jennifer Grey, and Charlie Sheen.)
Snacks will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the film will begin at 7 p.m. The film is free, and all are welcome.
