Blessing of the Animals

All creatures, great and small, are invited to attend our annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 2. Your pet (leashed or caged as appropriate) is welcome to join you inside the church at our 10 a.m. service of Holy Eucharist.
This is a family and child friendly service including a Children’s Sermon.
The Blessing will take place immediately following the service on the front lawn.
• Refreshments will be served.
• Photos of pets and stuffed animals are welcome!
• You may bring your pet to receive a blessing if you do not attend the 10 a.m. service.
You can also be a blessing to a pet by bringing a donation of pet food or supplies for the the Bellefonte Faith Centre Pet Pantry. The Pet Pantry’s goal is to “keep beloved pets in their homes, prevent animal surrender, and help ensure that all the pets of Centre County are happy and healthy.” They welcome donations of pet food, toys, leashes, beds, and other pet-related items and distribute them to pet owners in need from our undercroft each Wednesday morning from 8 – 10:30 a.m.
