What do we believe as Episcopalians? What’s up with reciting the stilted language of the Apostolic and Nicene Creeds anyways?
These Sunday morning discussions, led by Amy Pritchett, will step through Joan Chittister’s book, In Search of Belief, which discusses the myriad ways to interpret the creeds in our modern age. Her writing is flavored with her very strong concerns about social justice and a major emphasis is on not just rote recitation of the creed, but deep thought about what it does mean to each of us, and how we decide what we believe.
