Blessing of the Backpacks

As we prepare for the start of a new academic year with many modifications, we will be offering a modified version of our fall backpack blessing – one family at a time – at the front sanctuary steps on Sunday August 30.
Here’s what to do:
*Drive up to the front of the church (near the sanctuary steps) on Fraser Street and park. There will be (masked) St. Andrew’s people there to greet you.
*Our greeters will let you know when it’s your turn for a blessing. Just hang out in your cars until then.
*When it’s your turn, walk up to the sidewalk in front of the church steps. Fr. Jeff will be waiting there with holy water to bless you. You can bring your backpacks or briefcases or just yourselves! We will have backpack tags if you’re interested.
