We believe our entire life and Christian journey on Earth culminates at the moment of our dying. The clergy are available to talk with individuals and couples about their wishes for their funeral service, which can be recorded and kept on file in the church office.
When a parishioner is near death, the rector should be notified immediately so that the Last Rites may be administered. Calls for this purpose can and should be made at any time of the day or night.
Funerals and memorial services may be scheduled for any time of the year, except Sundays and times when the church is being prepared for major liturgies, such as Christmas or the days leading up to Easter.
We are committed to caring for those in our family who have been bereaved and to help them discern how to transform their grief into joyful living.
