The event will include readings by award-winning poets and poets chosen for inclusion in our contest anthology. We will have copies of the anthology for sale and participating poets may also have copies of their publications available to purchase. Light refreshments will be served.

From a field of 300 entries, our judges the Rt. Rev. Audrey Scanlan and the Rev. Dr. Vincent J. Kopp have selected the winning poems in this year’s contest on the theme of Sanctuary. The poetry committee is making the final selections for our contest anthology and we are contacting the poets. The need for blood is critical. Please sign up today at RedCrossBlood.org. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!
