Daughters of the King

Daughters of the King at St. Andrew’s will be meeting on Wednesday, October 11th at 7:00 PM in Room 119. We will be continuing our discussion of the New York Times Bestseller Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People by Nadia Bolz-Weber. If you are interested, please contact Chapter President Kitty Mussett at kam13@psu.edu.
Your help is also needed for the Women’s Prison Ministry. As we did last year at this time, the Daughters of the King of the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania are working together to bring the love and forgiveness of Christ to women who often had very few resources before they were incarcerated and who have little upon release. They need your prayers and your donations. Please consider supporting this DOK Outreach Project by writing a check to: St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with a notation “Women’s Prison Ministry” by October 15th. The funds received will go towards filling 20 tote bags and providing $25 gift cards to the Program Director to distribute to the women as needed.
