Friday Film

The film for September 20 will be the Rector’s choice, Brigsby Bear, Rated PG-13. This Sundance dramedy will take us on quite an imaginative journey as it also forces us to ask substantial questions about the world around us. Brigsby Bear Adventures is a children's television program produced for an audience of one: James Pope. In memory of September 11th, the Book Club will read Jim DeFede's book The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland as its September selection. When 38 jetliners en route to the United States were grounded in Gander due to the closing of the United States airspace as a result of the 9/11 tragedy, Gander, Newfoundland abruptly almost doubled in size. The citizens of Gander welcomed the stranded passengers with an overwhelming display of friendship and goodwill.…

Fall Clean Up Day

September 28 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join parishioners of all ages for our annual "Fall Cleanup Day" This outdoor work will consist of weeding, leaf raking, pruning, and similar tasks around the Trinity House grounds and parking area. No experience necessary! Bring a leaf rake and similar yard-work tools, your favorite gloves, and dress appropriately for the weather. Drinks and snacks will also be available! Community Table

On Saturday, October 5, join us for an evening of farm-to-table food, local beverages, and handmade items for auction at the inaugural Community Table event benefiting the Community Cafe at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The cafe, which is celebrating a decade of food and fellowship this year, provides a free weekly dinner to community members each Thursday and operates through donations from area grocery stores and farms, including Cramer Farm, as well as through the work of dedicated volunteers. State College CROP Hunger Walk

Join the St. Andrew’s Purple People Feeders as we walk to end hunger in State College and around the world!  The 5K walk begins and ends at Grace Lutheran Church.  Registration starts at 1:30, the walk begins at 2:00.
