The film for September 20 will be the Rector’s choice, Brigsby Bear, Rated PG-13. This Sundance dramedy will take us on quite an imaginative journey as it also forces us to ask substantial questions about the world around us. Brigsby Bear Adventures is a children’s television program produced for an audience of one: James Pope. When the series abruptly ends, Pope’s life changes forever as he sets out to finish the storyline himself. To do that, he must learn how to cope with the realities of a new world that he knows nothing about.
Fr. Jeff will lead a discussion following the film for those who wish to stay. Food will be served at 6:30; the film begins at 7:00 pm. This a free event and all are welcome.
